My fiance proposed a couple weeks ago! I am in love with my vintage ring. The stone was mined in the 1890s and the ring was made in the 1930s. Center stone is 1 carat. Now show me YOUR vintage ring!!
Edited to add the ring size is 5.25. I know how you ladies are about the stats. π

Center stone about .17 – that is all I know. It was one of my Aunt’s rings but I love how detailed and dainty it is. I wear it on middle finger next to wedding finger sometimes.

Not my ring, but my mom’s set (shown here on my mom’s hand). From the late 1950s. She and my dad have been married 56 years so far — and still going strong.

And a shot with a little more of a front view of the set.

Ooh it’s beautiful – congrats!
My e-ring was my great-grandmother’s from the 1920s I think, and my wedding band was my grandmother’s. eta: sorry this pic is SO huge!

So beautiful!!
My ring is not vintage, it is custom made, BUT it was made to look like an Art Deco style ring (it’s 1ct moissanite) and I get asked if my setting is vintage a lot, so we must have done a good job! π

sarahsonata: ur ring is stunning! Congrats on ur engagement!
Unfathomably: gorgeous ring! Mine’s a repro of a vintage art deco ring from the 1920s as well. We wanted to get the original one but it was sold π its a white sapphire, not sure what the exact specs is.

sarahsonata: Mine was bought from a vintage jeweler in Saint Louis. Darling Husband didn’t like the original center stone, so he changed out the diamond. I love it! π

I’ve posted mine a million times already…
Anyways, we don’t know dates. Brilliant Earth just had it as “vintage.”
