Bees, all the rings and stories in this thread are heart-stoppers! Thanks for sharing such amazing stories and photos with us all!

This is my vintage RHR that my grandmother brought back from Hong Kong in the 1950s and gifted to my mother when she was a little girl in Jamaica, before being passed down to me. I wish I could read the old Chinese character markings on the inside band. Please excuse the dead shellac.

I picked my ring from the vintage corner of the “consignment” section of a local jewelry store.

I don’t know much about it but I’m completely in love.

These were my great grandmother’s rings. She was married in 1941. I didn’t know I loved vintage rings until I saw this and started looking around the internet for others. I really loved all the rings in this thread 🙂

Here is my engagement ring and wedding band set!

I got married 3 months ago, and my ring is from 1925 Art Deco period. It is a 0.55 ct old european cut diamond framed in a white gold octagon shape. I was in love with this look and we found this ring at a local jeweler. The band is from Zales but I think it goes perfectly with the ring.

Just got engaged this past weekend and was blessed to accept my grandmother’s wedding ring that was custom made in Cuba in the 1950’s. Center stone was my great grandfathers and side stones were my great great aunts. Can’t wait to pass this down to my daughter or granddaughter.

60sbee :

it’s perfect! Finding an antique floral cluster to fit my 2.22 carat stone is kinda a challenge!

Mine isn’t but everyone seems to think it is when they see it. I guess the scroll bands make it look antique
