Hi ladies! I was finally able to snag a couple $17 or $70 groupons for VP. I want to use them for our Save-The-Date Cards, but haven’t seen any templates that I’m in love with which means I’ll probably design my own. Our wedding colors are black, grey, and yellow. We are having a formal wedding and I’m thinking about going a damask pattern or some other elegant design. We also want to incorporate at least one engament picture on the STD.
Anyone want to share their design or give me pointers and ideas on how to do mine?! Thanks in advance 🙂

@danimarie88: Here are mine! I designed my own and uploaded. Obviously I’ve blacked out some info here.
Are you skilled in any design programs? They have templates that were really helpful to me in designing them and making sure I didn’t go over the crop areas but still maximizing space. They are under the “Full Specs” portions.
If you do a postcard, make sure you check the post office regulations. You can go into the bar code area, just know they’re going to put one of those removable stickers over it.
I found the best inspiration for Save-The-Date Cards and invitations on google image search – I would type in my colors and other words that described what I was going for. I didn’t have as much luck on pinterest – it doesn’t allow for as much description like Google search does.
My other tip is that FONT MATTERS. I would suggest selecting no more than two fonts and sticking with them. Font spacing can make a big difference – watch your spacing both between individual letters and between lines. Spacing makes something look either amateur or professional, in my opinion.
