I have become nail obsessed lately, too — to the point where I’ve made my SO swear that the week he’s going to propose, he’ll send me to go get my nails done.  But that hasn’t stopped me from playing with polish a lot.  And that reminds me, I need to do my nails, they’re chipping and ugly.  I’ll post a pic later when I finish them.

Love the pink glitter, @amallama.  Who makes that one and what’s the name?  I love it when people share the names of their polish so I can go track down good ones!

@amallama:  What a cool idea. I might have to try that– I have a whole sample set of fine craft glitter lying around.

I’ll post tomorrow, when I’ve done my nails again. (Even though I am not doing them to keep prepared for anything, heaven knows it is probably ages away :P). Last week I had a lovely mani that I did myself, with clear gloss on all but the ring fingers, which were copper, and then rose-gold colored glitter tips on all. It was the best one I’ve pulled off yet– I should have taken a picture of it!

Pretty waiting nails ladies! Mine looks gross bc I wore acrylic for years and my nail beds are crappy! Hopefully I’ll be proud of my nails soon!

OK, I just did them this morning! I used a greyish lavender polish, sprinkled purply-brown glitter on with an old paintbrush, and sealed it with topcoat. Thank you anallama for the glitter idea!

@mistress_anne:  I recently picked up the Sensationail UV polish kit for $50 and i must say….chipped ugly nails are no more!!  i hated spending the $50 bucks but it was totally worth it!!

Finally, I did my nails this afternoon.  It’s a nude with a pink shimmer base, with a blue and silver glitter over, and a clear topcoat.  I usually use OPI, but this was some older stuff from Avon my momma gave me, so I decided to play with it.

Took me a while to get a picture! I apologize now b/c I clearly have no idea how to do this and my pictures turn out huge!

Everyone’s nails look gorgeous!! @amallama: I love your glitter! I’ve been wanting that exact look!!
