This was our wedding cake, strawberry, and a chocolate sheet cake, for 200 guests in total, price was about ~1000 incl. delivery and set up. I was very happy with the design and taste.

hikingbride:  What city are you getting married in?! That seems really steep. In Los Angeles we’re getting a three-tiered (14, 10, 6 inches) organic cake and a half sheet of tiramisu all for $415 and a $100 delivery charge.

2 tier Bundt Cake from Nothing Bundt Cake. An 8″ on top of 10″ feeds 30ish for $70. 2nd pic shows the bundtinis on as they call them on a tower, 7 dozen at $20/dz so $140. That whole table with 5% bundt discount, delivery, and cake flowers was $230.

Plenty of leftover bundtinis as we had a dessert table with cookies, brownies, and macarons. 105 people in attendance.

starfish317:  we have two lol. The French Classic croque en bouche – profiterole tower but we asked for 3 flavours so a praline, a chocolate and a vanilla filed one!

But his mum and sister wanted to also make cake for evening guests so i wanted something reflecting our styke and so they are making this mad hatter steam punk one and NO fruit cake , red velvet, chocolate and vanilla.

We skipped the cake and did a donut tower. Our donut tower did not turn out quite as nicely as this one – but this was our inspiration pic. The donuts themselves were a huge success! We ordered 120 for 105 guests and we didn’t have a single left over! Donuts were less than $1 each.

babygrandmabee:  I don’t know if my Mother-In-Law found it amazing when I showed her lol lol but they have already made the cogs and they are an exact replica – quite excited now! Our mr and Mrs are little wooden carved people made by his grandad (we asked him to get him involved) and his mum making a elf suit for my FIs figure and a sexy Santa tutu for mine as we met at a thing called SANTACON he was an elf and I was a Santa lol. His family are all creatives.

The traditional French wedding cakes are very elegant and different and my Fiance loves profiteroles πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘ŒπŸΎ

Our cake was a gift from a friend who had made her own cake so beautifully. The layers were malt chocolate and salted caramel garnache at bottom, raspberry and white chocolate middle and lemon at top. It tasted amazing!

About 350$ for ~80 people (we also had a “groom’s cake” but then had tons of this left over!!). I made the topper of our parrots πŸ™‚

This was our other cake by the way – amazing mother in law made it! Her specialty carrot cake πŸ™‚

It’s a Simpsons reference by the way… My Mother-In-Law is not calling me a whale! πŸ˜‰
