@Brielle- Thanks! It looked really pretty & actually a last minute change they made as the cake stand baker ordered didn’t arrive so this was something we discussed on phone.. I was pleasantly surprised on our wedding day.

@Beachchicbride- Aaawww thanks I am flattered. thank you! In person the cake had a shimmer which looked awesome just cant tell in this pic.

@Beachchicbride- No special fondant just some kind of powder edible shimmer… it was iridescent bummer you can’t tell in pictures…

I just noticed you didn’t want flowers… You could do something like this, but switch out the topper with something non-floral.

simple buttercream with satin ribbon and vintage crystal brooches.

this was more of a celebration cake, with edible blown sugar bubbles. b&G initials on the champagne bottle topper.
