All my jewelry was vintage. I found the necklace and earrings at an estate sale, and then hunted like crazy for the rest. I found the matching bracelet and brooch. The only jewelry I wore that wasn’t vintage were my wedding rings and the sky blue topaz bracelet that was the first birthday present my husband had ever given me–it was my something blue.

All I ended up wearing for jewelry were some really simple pearl studs. I don’t regret the simplicity at all.

I love everyone’s jewelry! I just got mine and I’m so happy.  Necklace from Macy’s, earrings Nordstrom, and bracelet off ebay, I had to get some “pearls” in there. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have yet to see them with my dress, but these are my earrings.  I love that they are just enough dangle and bling for me on a wedding day (because I have been known for the giant earrings).

I will pair them with a simple, thin string of pearls or a single pearl.   No bracelet.

@MrsRedPumps:  Go for it!  Big earrings are what you like and I’m sure they look good on you.

@ash:  Very beautiful set! My mother doesn’t want me to wear pearls, something to do with old European tradition of bad luck in the marriage. But, I think they are so classy. I love yours.

@MrsRedPumps:  Thank you!  I had initially selected a very different vintage piece.  This necklace, which is beautiful, but after I found my jewelry, I knew I wanted to go less blingy.

I’m still waiting for an occasion to wear this necklace. Darling Husband bought it for me, and I love it. I just didn’t think it went with my mid-day Savannah wedding.

Here’s my earrings and bracelet. I didn’t do a necklace because I didn’t want to go overboard (I usually stick to 2 pieces of jewelry at a time in my normal life), but I wish I had worn a small necklace, too. My advice would be to err on the side of more bling if you’re not used to wearing much!

This is mine! I actually made my own jewelry. I’m an artist, so I am doing quite a few things DIY where I can.

I have bee’s on the jewelry because my fiance calls me “bee” or “honeybee”. ๐Ÿ™‚
