I didn’t have a purse and honestly never found a need to carry a purse around all day because Darling Husband put my lipstick in his coat pocket. 🙂

I made my wedding purse years before the proposal.  It looks like a white fillet crochet lace with a blue silk lining,  but it’s not crochet.  It’s actually made of extremely small seed beads needle woven into a “fillet crochet” vintage pattern. The beads look like white thread,  but it’s an illusion.

I actually bought one- but just for the photos (and returned it after the wedding)! Our bridal suite was so close to our reception hall and the ceremony was at the same place so it was nothing for me to run back in the bridal suite room every so often if I needed. I just wanted a prop that matched everything else.

I bought this for my bachelorette since we went to Disney, dressed as our favorite princesses… partly because I call my now husband Price Charming (not *Prince) and my family called me Shelly Cinderelly growing up. It was a vintage clutch on ebay for $20 and I absolutely love it. TOok it on our honeymoon cruise and have used it several times. It’s a great conversation piece and a reminder of our fun. I say find a fun conversation piece (that is functional).
