They can do just about anything with any dress if you are willling to pay for the alterations.  They also are many wrap and lace sheer “jackets” that you may find to match your dress.  My dress was sleeveless and I’m having sleeves made for it.  We ordered extra material so the sleeves will match the dress.  The back of my dress is sheer and I’m self conscious about my back.  The dress has lace applications on it and we were able to order extra so they can be sewed on the back to cover up more and maybe add some to the back of my veil.

So they can just do about anything.  Just find THE dress and then see how you want to alter it.  Most dress I saw were strapless and that was out for me, but they can fix it.  HAPPY SHOPPING!

My dress was capped sleeves. I don’t like how my arms look in strapless anything. Here is a pic of me in mine. I got it at BHLDN and they had many dresses with some sort of sleeves, even long sleeves.

I plan to look for a dress with a cape, or add one. I have a cocktail dress with a cape and I love the drama, the drape, and I think it’s more flattering than many sleeves are on me.

This is mine minus the black belt! I’m exactly the same as you must have arms hidden!

jemgirl18 :  You are in luck, because currently there are many more options with sleeves than several years ago, in all silhouettes and styles; for example:

Mine is off the shoulder. Not sure if this counts as sleeves, but I also wanted to cover my arms and I felt that off the shoulder was a great way to do that but still feel open and able to move. I LOVE it❤️

I couldn’t imagine wearing a dress without sleeves, especially in December. I designed the dress myself and it’s currently under construction by a seamstress friend. Ivory velvet and I love it.
