We all love looking at “wedding porn.” Those amazing pictures that inspire you to emulate a pose, a shot, or even just the lighting or the look of a shot. Show those off! I’m starting to look at inspiration myself and would love to see what you guys have!
Here are some of the ones I love…

Those are all really cute pictures! Do you think its rude to send inspiration pictures from other photographers to your photographer?

@caszos – – I would begin a thread asking that question as well as taking a poll.
I think your answers will vary. IMO I don’t think a photog would be too sypched receiving inspirational images from other photogs. But I am interested to see what others think

@ caszos we had our engagement photos done today and our photographer actually told us if we liked anything specific from other people, to show her for the wedding. i think it depends on the photographer. she is coming from a few hours away though, and has never shot this venue.
back on topic..we are getting married at a popular facility and i’ve been looking at photos i like that other people have taken. here is one inspiration board i LOVE LOVE LOVE mostly because of the lighting..I want our photog to take advantage of the lightining. I love the sky right when the sun is going down.

My photographer asked me to give her pictures that I liked, from any source. I guess it would depend on the person so if I was wondering about it then I would just ask.

Just wanted to check back in and tell you guys. This is how I posed my question to our photographer.
As we get closer, is there anything I can do to help you with our wedding? Would it be helpful for me to show you some of my favorite pictures you have taken so you can see our style? If there are specific shots/details we want to make sure we get shots of, how can we communicate that to you? I started a list of the some shots I really want to make sure we get, but the list seems like it could be never ending!
She was awesome and came back saying:
Yes, send me 100 links if you want, the more I get, the better your photos will be because then I can really concentrate on getting your style rather than just doing the “safe” shots. If you see a photo, just copy the link and email it, You can also email the list when you have it complete, color coding it may be the best way to go – green for the MUST HAVEs, orange for the WOULD LIKE TO HAVE and so on..
I am so glad I asked! I am now going into bridezilla mode and copying down tons of pictures and categorizing them!
