@sofiekitty:  Not in that particular pic, I did not, since that was taken at my wedding and I wanted my nails to look as perfect as possible that day, so my manicurist did my nails the day before my wedding.  However, I’m thankful that I am pretty good at doing it myself.

Seche Vite is a brand.  The only product I use is the top coat, and it is fabulous! You probably will be able to find it at Ulta or Trade Secret.  What I love about it is that it is very quick drying and shiny, and it doesn’t chip easily.

I’m going to do a simple gel french manicure, and then have this little band put on my ring finger!

I do like the pinks though!

My sister is a nail artist, and she’s doing a lace pattern on my (real, not acrylic) nails!

Then there’s a week gap, and I’m going to get a shellac mani for the honeymoon!

Something nude or pink but with a slight glitter in them.  THey always last longer if there’s glitter in the nail polish or if I use a top coat with glitter. Otherwise mine chip like crazy.

@Mrs.Kpop:  Acrylic nails are not tacky, I get them and there is not a tacky bone in my body. It’s all about how you prefer to wear them, even then it’s a matter of opinion.

I’m hanging out in this thread hoping for suggestions. I hate having my fingernails painted but love my toenails done up. Right now I really don’t know what I’m thinking. I think the french manicure looks weird on me but I love it on other people.

I like the pale pinks, nudes, opaque-y, glittery ones…HELP! 🙂

Oh how I have needed this thread in my life! I am so lost! I would love to do several designs over my one week destination wedding but I know I won’t have the time or patience so I have one time to get it right.

Ok for a good laugh… I currently have witch nails They have been growing out like crazy and I am waiting until close to the wedding to have a nail tech cut them properly, mend the broken nails (3 currently 🙁 ) and style them.

I miss when my nails allowed me to function. I think I will get them cut to this length again:

As for the nail style… I may go with caviar nails! I don’t know if I just want to do a couple of accent nails or go full caviar! 🙂

    Something blue?

    Or caviar tips, maybe? Hmmm

@sofiekitty:  I love the second pink/gold glitter, the slightly more nude Essie shade. Pity I have a phobia of glitter polish on my nails, I hate having to scrape to get it off!

As for me, I’ll probably opt for a nude/pink hue, or a pale grey (something like Essie Chinchilly or Ulta Earl Grey). Possibly a dark, near-black shade for my toes.

I remember you were going for a cat theme for your wedding, and came across these. Pretty awesome.
