@DarthBetty:  They are so ridiculously comfortable. You will not regret it. Most money I’ve ever spent on a pair of shoes, but so worth it.

These ones for the ceremony (or possibly just pics before the ceremony if they hurt my feet too much):

And these for the reception:

I love so many of these shoes! I definitely wish I could’ve worn heels, but flats are pretty much the only thing partner has requested…

Here are my DIY flats — not elaborate, but very me. πŸ™‚

@FreckledFox:  So funny!! you’re the one that I stole my wedding shoes from πŸ™‚

I saw your shoes and was on this gigantic hunt for them because I thought they were perfect. Your pictures are of course better than mine because mine is just from the shop where I was trying on dresses and yours is from the actual day πŸ˜€

@FreckledFox:  I ended up getting the GoMax Grapevine, but mabye the “Through the Grapvine” ones are slightly different? Your ankle straps look a bit different than mine, but otherwise it’s close enough. Good thing too, means I’m not a complete copycat… just an almost complete copycat. πŸ˜‰

@NovaGrey:  i got mine from shopruche.com and they called the Through the grapevine, but the box says Grapevine. Yours look like one thick strap, mine were two that criss-crossed in front.  πŸ™‚  YAY for finding them. i went through hell for mine too!

@JainaSKiwlkr: Thanks! I made them through Milk and Honey, what I wanted didn’t exist (I hate sky high heels, they look too hookery for me, are hard to walk in, my husband isn’t that much taller than I am, and just overall would be a bad idea….but unfortunately they’re all that’s sold nowadays!) so I made them exist πŸ™‚

These shoe will be my “something blue.”  I may try to find another pair.  Originally wanted purple shoes b/c bridesmaids dresses are purple.  But found these on sale.
