I bought the blue pair before I even selected my venue. However, after deciding that we would be getting married outdoors in the woods, I ended up purchasing wedges as well:

@raspberrymojito:  I really love your sparkly flats! I may have to borrow that idea from you for something to wear later in the evening.

I struggled with the same issue of my hubby being only a couple inches taller than me, so I hunted for low heels.  I ended up with these beautiful 3″ Bagdley Mischka’s – I tried to keep looking so I didn’t have to spend so much, but couldn’t find any to compare so I went with them.  So happy I did!

I’m just getting white Tom’s. I’m having an outdoor informal ceremony.

@RaeBee:  Thanks! Love yours too, beautiful! Baxen wedges were totally a contendor for me, I just couldn’t find a pair to try on where I live, and I hate buying shoes online. Fit is so important!

Fiance and I are roughly the same height, so I originally wanted a flat, but I couldn’t find one that was comfortable enough. I ended up with this 1-inch wedge ($140 at DSW):

I bought these to wear on the day – manolo rose gold glitter pump

But ended up wearing these instead because they were so much more comfy and I packed them as my backup shoes – J.Crew gold toe
