strawberrysakura :  Thanks, I really like them too! I’m excited to finally wear them next weekend 🙂 My bridesman actually spotted them for me in a boutique in Milan and bought them so I’ll have to ask him the name of the store. He actually lives in the UK and only flew in to Aus last night so I was stressed out that they wouldn’t fit me/go with my dress lol…I have them in hand now and thank goodness they do!

bibliophilacticbee :  they look awesome with that dress colour, not sure I would be able to walk in them though as I tend to ‘step out’ of anything without a strap and then fall on my ass lol.

I know you didn’t want rhinestone lol, but I feel like mine are different enough to share anyway haha…they’re actually mesh see through. Low heels. To match my moscato coloured dress. But I feel like they would go nicely with any wedding dress to add a bit of a pop (and Cinderella esque style hehe)

I’m not a huge fan of the traditional satin shoes with jewels/broaches. I went for a shoe that I could wear again, no regrets!

I bought these Keds shoes for the reception, and for the ceremony I’m looking for some blue suede/velvet pumps that I’ll add some little gold bumblebee brooches to 🙂 I really wanted to avoid the white/rhinestone wedding shoes as well!

I’m still in love with mine, though I haven’t had a chance to wear them again because pregnancy grew my feet to a size 7 LOL

I definitely wanted blue peep toe heels!  If not, I would have gotten red.  I wore wedges during the second half of my reception.

My wedding shoes were £20 in a clearance sale. Heel 2 inches
However I took them off after I cut the cake with DH and nobody noticed…

No one is going to see your shoes since they’ll be hidden by your dress most of the time. Go for what you are most comfortable in. Previously, Bees here have posted sneakers, cowboy boots, flip flops…. you name it.

I’m tall (almost 5’9) so I did simple kitten heels under my dress. I’ve worn them plenty of other times after the wedding too.
