myardley :  I’ve learned that’s the trick…..limit those we ask opinions of,  as people vary so much in their likes/dislikes it’s confusing!!! Haha

harleybeachbride6 :  Thank you!! I noticed we have very similar tastes in wedding rings! 😉

I should be freaking out more because I still have lots to do but I’m spending all my free time procrastinating and being lazy instead of finalising the details!

These pics are a mixture of both real & inspo pics for ours. Excited to see it all come together. We have gone for vintage romantic vineyard wedding!

Our ceremony is inside (standing in front of floor to ceiling windows w ocean behind us) and weather permitting want to do pics on the beach too! I envision my dress hanging up on my hanger with the beautiful ocean as the backdrop! Haha

My wedding is in Maui in less than 2 weeks. We have 40 guests… I have DIY’d almost everything and shipped it to my Future Mother-In-Law that lives on the island.  ( Quick note, the USPS apparently doesn’t want to piss off a bride, and my box shipped from Oregon to Maui in less than 3 days- I had written ” wedding stuff” all over the box!)here is our venue:

Here is our guest book  …It is my grandfather’s vintage canoe paddle that I painted and our guests will sign :

Here is my cake topper… My fiance and I are a house divided with our Oregon college teams..He is a die-hard Oregon Ducks fan and I will always cheer for my beloved OSU Beavers… I found the tiny canoe at hobby lobby, and I made the duck and beaver out of clay. We have a red canoe and we go canoeing alot in the summers…

Because we are so outdoorsy and we love fishing, and we actually met online on Plenty of Fish, as well as got engaged on a deep-sea fishing trip I have incorporated some fishing items in our wedding… This is an antique fishing Creel and it will hold our cards…

I did all my boutenires and florals myself with silk flowers… Including my bouquet… Here are the boutenires:

This is my Maid/Matron of Honor bouquet and my bridesmaid bouquets:

This is my bouquet. It is made of silks and I incorporated pieces of my grandmothers jewelery in it. None of my grandmothers are alive any longer and this way it is as if they are walking me down the aisle. The fabric I used to wrap it is vintage brocade silk that my grandpa purchased in Hawaii during WWII while stationed in pearl harbor. He bought it for Grandma and I have had it stored since I was 12 when grandma gave it to me, she never used it all those years…It was too pretty. ( I am 42 and always wanted to somehow incorporate it in my wedding) I cut a strip off of it and hemmed it to create a sash of sorts and wrapped the stems… Then stitched it and applied more jewelry.

I still do not have my centerpieces figured out yet… I just know it will be simple with blue canning jars and some simple flowers cut from my Mother-In-Law tropical yard…
