I don’t know what length I want yet and I need some inspiration. What did you ending up paying? I really just want to spend $200 max for mine. I just plan on wearing it for the ceremony and not reception. What are your plans, brides?

I’m getting a cathedral length drop veil. I always knew it was gonna be a long one but I just loved the way Kate Middleton wore hers. It’s nothing really special though, I’m aiming for a look similar to this but with beading on the ends instead of horsehair.
I think before we could recommend anything, we’d need to see a pic of your dress. Sometimes detailing can play a part and you don’t want to have a busy veil over a busy dress or 2 things that wouldn’t go together.

I got my 3 tier raw edge veil on etsy, it was $150 CAD after tax and shipping. You can’t really see the longest tier here, it’s a full cathedral, with the other two hitting at waltz/calf and hip/fingertip.
I can give you the sellers name if you want, she doesn’t do beading or lace trim, just pencil, ribbon, raw edge, or scattered rhinestones. But if you want a plain veil she’s awesome to work with.

This is mine. It’s a fingertip length floral wreath veil. It’s so much prettier in real life but you get the idea.
I got it online for like $20 hahahaha 🙂 SCORE

Hi , I bought a new DB blusher veil (29 inches ) off of EBay for under $ 12 and a birdcage veil ( not a DB brand but new ) for under 10. My birdcage veil has little pearl accents with feathers. I haven’t decided which one I am going to wear. If I do wear the blusher, I’m going to keep it back and not the front. I’m average height so I didn’t want something too long on me or a veil that would take away from the design of my dress. I do like the longer veils . They work well for some people.
