@kanadia82: I love that idea! So romantic looking and very winter. ๐Ÿ™‚

Our centerpieces are floral- and they will be half high half low on the tables.

Our flowers wil be avalance roses, english roses, orchids, amaryllus, white lilacs and the wax flower for a woody, wintery touch. The colors are ivory/champagne/gold/salmon.

Here’s an inspiration pic, but it’s not exactly what we’re doing:

@kanadia82: Great find on those lanterns, perfect for a winter wedding!

@Evie19:Very stunning!

We have rectangle tables and are having white tableclothes, still haven’t decided on a black or red runner or none at all.  There will be a large white vase in the middle with white roses and hydrangers, and small clear vases each side with hydrangers.  It is mainly going to be white as the colour/designs wil be in the name tags/favors etc which have a damask pattern.

I am pretty sure we will have lumie table numbers.  Our venue does not allow candles as it is an art gallery so I brought some LED candles ages ago and still want to figure out a way to use them if I can! – Like Mrs Jaguar’s ones.

I have made the place names (haven’t put names on yet tho) so will take a photo tomorrow to show sort of what it will look like.

@nzgirl: Yay lumies! I hope the LED’s work well with the Lumies, they should do! ๐Ÿ™‚ The gentle glow is really pretty on the table/in pictures.

@kanadia82: I ADORE those lanterns with wintery blooms wrapped around the base. Gorgeous for a winter wedding.

Okay these are from my trial run this weekend. The tablecloth will be ivory with a purple runner. I still can’t decide what is missing. Still don’t know if I should make the little candles like the tall ones or do them in lace. Ugh, I can’t decide.. lol Also not quite the flowers I am using. I just got the colors I am using.

@Katielee: I think these look lovely – try wrapping some lace around the smaller tealight vases and see how it looks. (Lace + candles = gorgeous!)

Lol I am so blind I thought I posted the pics with the lace! Can you see them hiding in the corner? This is just some scrap lace I had but will get nicer for real thing.

@Katielee:  I think the lace looks lovely!

Here is one of the place cards I made, and what we are thinking of using for our favours – little chocolate bars that I rewrapped in tin foil and then covered with the damask that was on the invites.  I know there is a bit creased on the side but it is because I made it with one arm in a cast so once it is off they will be more smooth and better!

@nzgirl  Thanks! I love the candy bars. They look great, I didn’t even notice a crease. I hope you get your cast off soon.
