Let me see your yellow gold! I’m especially curious of how your diamonds look with yellow gold prongs and baskets! My ring was just made with i color diamonds in all yellow gold, and I’ve only seen pics from the jeweler, and it looks very warm sometimes. I’m curious to know how much the gold affects the diamond color. Let me know your diamond color and prong/basket color as well!

this one is : F, VS1,EX 0.59ct center and 70 excess diamonds all around the ring in 14k yellow gold -))))
This one is : light yellow diamond (my favorite color) W-X, IF, EX 2.43ct center in 18k yellow gold basket and 2 trepazoids step cut F, VVS1, EX 0.51cttw in platinum…
By The Way I’ve asked the Leibish & Co team to set the center diamond in an open basket just because I didn’t wanted the diamond to look too yellow I really love the softer yellow on my dark skin 🙂
In the car -)))
Here you can see how open is the yellow gold basket-))
In the sun ☀️-)))
In room lighting-))
Sorry for all the pics, I was trying to make a point that if your center diamond is set in an open yellow gold basket I don’t think it will effect the color of your diamond, because it didn’t effect mine:) I wish u good luck and I’m sure your ring will look beautiful and don’t forget to post a pic🤗

thank you!!! That was so helpful!

I have a warmish diamond in an all 14K yellow gold setting. I have no idea if it does much to the colour of the diamond or not, but I do really like the solid yellow gold setting.

Your ring is seriously beautiful. And your diamond looks incredibly white! Thank you!

My photos might not help you too much because I took them the night my ring came in before my boyfriend hid it from me, so they’re taken in warm indoor lighting. I haven’t seen it in sunlight so I don’t know how the yellow gold will effect the color of the stone, but I did my fair share of research on these boards and that really helped shape my expectations. It looked pretty clear and not too warm, even in the warm lighting (not easily captured in the photos though, thanks to old phone camera). Hope your ring is everything you want it to be! Love yellow gold =)

Ok, I’ve got a bezel set ring, so not 100% what you’re looking for, but the metal goes all around the diamond so I figured maybe I could help.
My stone is an H, so just one grade up from I. I really don’t think the setting color effects the stone’s performance at all. That could just be me though.
Side note – I love this re-emergence of yellow and rose gold rings! In my circle of friends and family, 6 of us have gotten engaged within the last year or so, and all but one of us has yellow or rose gold for her ring. 🙂

F color OEC in 14K yellow gold setting. To me personally, the yellow gold actually makes the white of the stone “pop” more. 1st pic is taken inside on a cloudy day, middle pic was in the morning inside on a sunny day; last two pics were inside at night.

Your ring was super helpful! Thank you! And YES I am so so so I’m love with yellow gold. White gold doesn’t do much for me, but I really love rose and yellow gold. Yellow gold especially! It looks so romantic and classy!
Thank you do your photos and info! They helped so much! Btw, I love you claw prongs and thin band! I have a thin band and claw prongs on my ring too and am soooo in love with them.

I don’t think my ring will help, but I never even thought twice, I had to have the yellow prongs to bring out the yellow in the stone.

The 3-stone is an I. I love this ring.
