beautyofdreams:

they look great! What else are you DIY’ing?

I’ve been trying out some place cards today but not sure about them. (Excuse the awful calligraphy attempt)

The glue is still drying in the picture! I don’t know if there is something missing from it? I don’t want them to be too complicated either

I’m knitting favour bags at the moment. The roses and leaves are crocheted and then sewn on. I’m managing to knit a couple a day on my commute to and from work! 45 down, only 55 more to go.

thosethreewords:  that card looks awesome, a little eclectic and quite elegant. I don’t think it’s missing anything – I would just use smaller paper.

pinksapphirebride:  so neat! That’s such a lovely and heartfelt idea, they came out just adorable! Are you filling them as well?

I made my bouquet with silk flowers – it was fun and I like the outcome tho I’d want to touch it up in some spots.

emmmmru:  Thank you! Yes, I think we’re going to make our own English Rose flavoured tea bags to fill them.

I cannot believe that you made that bouquet! It looks so pretty and classy. Plus it won’t wilt so you’ll get to keep it forever.

FI’s geode cufflinks & my geode bracelet (also my “something blue”):

Geode watercolors (haven’t decided if I am using them as table numbers or just table decor):

I’m also doing agate slice namecards, and have finished making some gold metal sculptures, and a gold straw himmeli chandelier. Need to get pictures ๐Ÿ™‚

beautyofdreams:  Love those table number holders! We plan on using the same ones, just spray paint them gold.

thosethreewords:  I agree that they could be a tad smaller. Maybe the feather should be to a side if you want to keep the same paper?

nikkiibee:  AMAZING!

I haven’t really gotten started on anything, just testing some stuff out and buying things… We need to paint our card box. Got the SOCKER greenhouse from IKEA to paint gold, as well as the table number holds that OP did.

Also working on making our placecards. Here’s the sample I made, but am not sure if they are too wide or not. Thoughts? We’re doing famous Chicagoans instead of table numbers, so that’s what the extra names are for
