These are all so beautiful! I’m so inspired by you bees   We’ll be doing our own centerpieces, backdrop, and invitations, as well as buying a speaker system to self-DJ. I haven’t started yet but pricing out 75% of the decoration supplies on Dollar Tree comes out to less than $200 for 12 tables! Much more budget friendly!

I love this thread! I’m DIYing a lot of the wedding. I just made a mock-up of part of my centerpieces today. They’ll have more elements with them, but this is what I have so far!:

Floral arrangements and invites! Flowers I bought wholesale from Los angeles and the envelopes for the invitations I printed using my ink printer at home. Super happy the way they turned out! I dont have the greatest handwriting and hiring a calligrapher was out of the question given our budget.

NightOwl27:  it’s from the Los Angeles flower district! They have vendor information online. I don’t remember the name of who I bought it from. I paid 5.75 per urn! You might be able to call them and send a picture and have them ship it to you? There’s only a few vendors that sold  vases.

I just wanna start by saying that my sister is THE BEST! She’s a very talented artist who went to Pratt so all I have to do is ask and she creates whatever I want, which has made everything so much easier for me. She designed my invitations and she’s made so many other things for me on top of that! Here are her latest creations.

This is our guestbook. She designed it and then I had it printed at Kinko’s. Our guests will sign it and leave their fingerprints so that it looks like we’re holding balloons.

I’m going to use this in wedding photos and have the flower girls hold it. I painted the frame and added chicken wire to it. My sister made and designed the banner. She’s also going to make a heart to add between the 16 and 2016.

I’m going to use these in wedding photos as well with my fiancee and I each holding one (he’s a big Star Wars fan). My sister designed the signs and the frames are from TJ Maxx.

We’re doing a private ceremony with just family on October 16th and having a big reception on the 23rd, so that’s why the date on the guestbook and banner are different.
