I love antique rings.  My best friend and I found the most gorgeous 1920 rings to hint to her future fiance.  They are so classic and unique.

This is my e-ring…..it was his grandmother’s on his father’s side. I LOVE my ring…it sparkles so pretty. It has a pretty small diamond in the middle, and one even smaller one on each side. But that doesn’t matter to me. It’s the history behind it. Anyone know what this setting might be called?

@Treasure43:

Wow!  Love this story and that you gave it back to your mom with her birthstone!

All the antique rings here are so unique and special, so much details into it.

I love antique rings too, got engaged this month 😉

I have searched online for so many different types of Sapphire antique rings but non caught my interests except for this one. The bonus is that it happened to be 140 yrs old and in excellent condition !!

I just wanted to bump this thread up to see more vintage engagement rings. I’m looking for one myself but haven’t had much luck. I see so many on the internet, but I would really want to see the rings in person before making any decisions. Frown

I love looking at all of these antique rings!

Mine is from the 1920s, old European cut diamond 🙂  My fiancé bought it from Brilliant Earth.

@shirasagi: Thanks!  I went to the Brilliant Earth showroom expecting to pick out one of their eco-friendly new rings.  They have a wonderful private showroom where you get to try on all the rings you want for an hour.  They had a lot of rings, including their antique rings.  I tried this one on and fell in love.  It’s so sparkley!

@Ms.GoodEarth: Wow I’m jealous! I would love to have so many vintage rings to look over in person! I see so many amazing ones online, but I really want to try them on so that I can know for sure.

Mine’s 1930s, Asscher cut. I couldn’t believe he found it.  I won’t be having a wedding band, though, nothing looks good with it.

I bought a cute art deco right hand ring for myself long ago.  I used to work for an estate dealer in NYC, he got in the most amazing jewelry. I wanted to buy it all.

If you’re looking for a place to find good antiques, btw, I highly recommend this guy: http://antiquejewelryforsale.com/

He’s based in NYC.  Doyle & Doyle also carries beautiful estate rings.
