I married my husband this past September in my custom made Azul Lian Carlo gown! I absolutely loved it and Lian Carlo even featured one of our wedding photos on his Instagram!

My wedding gown was the MJ363 model from Madison James by Allure.

I was definitely was the kind of bride who was looking for elements of something just a little bit different in my gown. I definitely got some of those elements, with the gown having the vertical lacework. I also wanted horsehair tulle, which I got with the hem of this dress. I suppose it also has a bit of color with it being a true ivory colored gown (though it doesn’t show in pics), even though I originally wanted a really colored gown, like a champagne or blush colored one, but this one ended up being right one for me.

I am really into the vintage inspired/romantic style of look, and this gown has that going for it. I had cap sleeves added and a sparkley layer of glitter tulle added under the top layer of the skirt as well. Pics really do not do this gown justice.

chatnoir :  My first thought was that you look like Amal Clooney in those photos. You and your dress are stunning!

unicornwolf :  I am not going to lie, I really don’t know what she looks like that well, but thank you for the compliment. ๐Ÿ™‚ If you want to know a little secret, by the time these pics were taken half of the hairspray in my hair got blown out by the wind and I definitely felt a little scraggly by this point on my wedding day, so it is always a sweet compliment when someone tells you they think you are good looking like that, lol. Your comment makes me feel much better about myself :p.

I had a bit of dress doubt but over Christmas I found some more photos on my mother’s phone, taken when we bought the dress – and now I’m again completely in love ๐Ÿ˜

willowrose15 :   princessmiaofgenovia :  thank you guys. It was way more than I planned to or expected to spend but my mother was very generous. And it ended up being “the one”. I didn’t expect to like it at all and I’d looked at the boutique online thinking there wouldn’t be anything there. I literally when into the shop and said “I don’t do lace, the most I do in terms of patterns is stripes”… oh hello Decklyn. I paid full price but I know that sample sales can be really good in terms of cost. I will be looking to sell it eventually, it’s at the cleaners at the moment.

mariadigi :  I love the cap sleeves on Grady; it was one of my favorites when I started trying on dresses.

Plus it fits your figure perfectly!

FINALLY I can post mine ๐Ÿ™‚ It is Stella York style 6146. It’s an ivory gown with a champagne overlay and I love it with all my heart. It’s too big since I lost 10 pounds since September, but I plan to get it to a tailor in March or April and get that situated! I apologize if the photos are enormous!

I am so incredibly happy with everything about this dress! It cost $1300, which was in my budget. I cried when I put it on – not bawling ugly crying, but just unavoidable three tears. My mother was also crying. The stylist said it was absolutely made for me ๐Ÿ™‚

Ah! Mines is Pronovias Delco – the dress I tried on in store was about 3 dress sizes too big and too long so it’s kind of hard to see it on me in all it’s glory! It was also missing the original bardot straps so I’ve attached a photo of it on the model. I still occasionally have doubts about it but I keep just going back to how I felt when I had it on and I am no an impulsiveness buyer, I bought it for a reason!
