We privatized a castle for our wedding and I thought a formal ball gown would have been appropriate. Although I loved it, it was heavy and difficult to move around all day. The ceremony was seated so the long train would have been a problem. I ended up going for a much simpler mermaid dress for the ceremony and cocktail afterwards.

Well our date n venue both  changed , and fh has some ideas.

So…. here is my NEW dress. It is MUCH more grand in person. The flare is full and huge and luscious without being too hobbly/mermaid.

I’m athletic have a strong back, this gown accommodates it. Will be perfect for our golf course setting in summer.

I also have a high neck, knee length. halter gown for reception/dinner.

I only have 2weeks before elope wedding and finally.. I found dress this afternoon. I picked two dresses but I complomized and pick one of the dress ( didn’t really feel “yes” to the dress..) I was about to pay at register but told sale lady I go look around one more time so I am not missing any other dress I may like.. sure enough.., the “Yes” dress catch my eyes right away and that was it. And surprised it was on sale from red tag… omg.. $370 went down to $140…. amazing dress!
