    @JrzyGurl:  It’s just an opinion, which is why I specifically said “IMO.”

    @Sassy-Southern-Belle:  thanks very much, you have a good attitude! i meant a safety hazard because of the risk of being a target for muggings. i live in a big city so that’s a concern for me, sometimes if i go out with my girlfriends i swap my ring out for a sterling silver band…just in case. safety first!

    i don’t think 1.9 is too big by itself, but with the halo it’s going to be a bit too big for my taste – my friend has a size 4 finger, a 1.2 carat center with a halo and it covers her whole finger.

    you should post pics once you have this beauty!

    @Sassy-Southern-Belle:  I think whatever size you choose will look great. I do think that more “delicate” settings look better on smaller fingers, but thats just my opinion. A thin halo would make that rock pop, so if you love it, I say go for it!

    Here is mine – solitaire between 1.75-2 cts (not sure of exact ct weight) on a size 5.5.

    @Sassy-Southern-Belle:

    I don’t think it will be too big. Your ring sounds beautiful ๐Ÿ™‚ Please post pictures once you get it. Here’s mine – it’s just over 1 carat all together – the center stone is 0.75, not exactly what you were looking for but my ring size is 4.5 for reference.

    my ring size is 4.75, my stone is 1.5ct. i think it’s a great size and i don’t think i’d want a halo or a bigger stone (bahaha let’s be serious- i would take a bigger stone, but this size seems huge anyways).

    here’s a pic to help you visualize!

    Your ring sounds beautiful!!! I don’t know the exact specs of the center stone but I know mine is right at 3 ctw and my finger is right between 4.25-4.5, and it is a round diamond in a cusion halo
