These are pretty!

I actually like mine better bustled than not. But I’m not a big fan of trains anyway. I llike simple over extravagant (for me), and I don’t like a lot of floof. I’ll probably just wear it bustled all night…

@scadadle15:  Wow, that’s the most gorgeous bustle I’ve seen so far! Do you have another picture, maybe from the back? What kind of bustle is it?

Here’s the back of my dress. I have an enormous train (both length and width). It’s not quite finished in these pictures. There are still buttons to go on the bodice and a little tweaking here and there, but essentially this is how it’ll look (oh, and the veil will be wider as they sent it too narrow initially).

And bustled:

Buuuuuumppp for new eyes.  I say my dress is huge, but it’s not really compared to some others, lol.

I THINK I’m going to do a combination of a one point over bustle that brings the flower  at the back of my dress up to my butt and the rest will be a ballroom bustle tucked under.  My hem is already a bubble hem so it won’t show.   Or, maybe the one point over will be enough to bring the hem nearly up to the ground, and then we can just shorten the dress a bit…  I don’t want it touching or dragging at all once it’s bustled

Kind of hard to tell in the pictures, and I honestly have no idea what my bustle was called, but my seamstress basically took the whole train and just tied it all underneath.  So it looked liked the train was just “taken off”…no pickups at all.  Which worked wonders for my already super busy train!

@Southernpecan13:  thanks, I think I do too, I just hear that they break more easily and that concerns me a tad.

Ok I know this thread is really old (and half the pictures are no longer visible!) so if there is anyone out there with photos bustled and unbustled or different options I would love to see them!
