These are elements of our cake. We’ve got dusky pink roses with falling petals and piped lace icing.

Ps. Sorry about the size I’m on my phone.

My wedding cake was pretty basic because it was in Cuba at our destionation wedding. But this is a picture of my shower cake which was pink and destination themed. All of the shells were edible it was amazing!

@star282:  I love sweets but never really liked the look of traditional wedding cakes, they don’t look inviting to me. So I had my baker (who also happens to be a friend) make three cakes that were based on us and our journey. Our theme realy was Our Time (HourThyme, get it?) so the first was a trolley-because that’s where we met, the second was a replica of the Scrabble board on which he proposed using homophones bc that’s how we text (words that sound alike but are spelled differently, like HourThyme and Our Time. The third cake was a replica of the ceiling at our wedding venue. It was so special for us!

Trolley like the one we met on (which we also used as transportation the day of) with the Chicago Skyline!

An exact copy of our Scrabble Board

The ceiling and little models of us including a replica of my dress and our two dogs!

And I choo-choo choose you like the line from the Simpsons because we thought it was funny and we grew up watching them!

(sorry about the ginormous pics!)
