I just posted a recap with my DIY’s but I love them so I will share them again here 🙂
They had run out of actual letter stickers so I had to place all the little rhinestones in place, took a while but I was happy with it!
We came up with the idea for our aisle decor and bought the silk flowers and ribbon to create it. It took awhile to figure out how to nicely attach it though.
My husband and I worked for a long time to get all of the silk flowers attached to the garland.
We picked up the silk and real touch flowers from a wholesale store in Toronto and then with zero knowledge or experience, somehow ended up with bouquets that I really love. The orchids in my bouquet caused a lot of trouble, and the hydrangeas in the bridesmaids bouquet were really easy to work with.
My Mom and I made all of the bouts and corsages using real touch orchids.
Simple, but we decorated the bubble baskets with ribbon that matched the bridesmaids dresses.
A bigger picture of everything we did.
I made the favours with jelly bellys and coral ribbon and we made the labels for them as well.
We made all of the centerpieces using artificial flowers and materials purchased wholesale. I also created all of the table numbers.
I also made a seating chart that resembles the table numbers, and it is in a frame with about 18 photo slots, some with our engagement photos, photos of pink flowers, or the actual list of people at each table.
It was a lot of work, but it saved us a ton of money and it was actually nice to know what I would have on the day, rather than leaving it up to someone else.
