I haven’t gotten married yet, but I’m doing birdcages with pillar candles inside. the birdcages are 10 bux each, I need 10. And the candles are $130 for 30, of varying sizes. So simple and easy!

We used vases wrapped in vellum. They had candles inside, for a nice low glow. 3 vases per table. I also wrapped ribbon in our colours over the vellum. 1 vase on each table had our table numbers on them rather than the ribbon.

We also sprinkled photofetti around the vases. Easy.

What about tall vases with branches and hanging candles? It’d be super easy to DIY, like this just minus the flowers.

This is my inspiration. Although I may also be doing birdcages w/ candles in the middle. Haven’t quite decided.

I am in total agreement with you on the flower homefront. I’ve always wanted candles as far as the eye can see for as long as I can remember. I think it’s so romantic and it doesn’t take much with cndles to look fabulous!

This was my original inspiration….

And these are what I’m going with…. Except it will have a tree slice underneath the jars, and scattered moss around that.

And this is what will be on our Wedding Party long table…

And finally this will be on our food table, as well as guest sign in table and one possibly on the bar…

I bought these flowers from Trader Joe’s (two bunches of flowers) to do a demo of our centerpieces and figure out how many flowers I would need to order for all the arrangements.

@Mrs.tobe:

This looks beautiful!!! Can you say how much you spent on this centerpiece with the flowers/candles/manzanita branches? I love it!

Our centerpieces were pretty simple, but I had lots of candles. Where ever I could fit one I put a candle there. lol

I love the look the candle glow gives.
