Let’s start a thread for everyone to share their favors. DIY, Semi DIY and non DIY all welcome!
We did small picture frames each with a cute country lyric in it.
Frames were $1.35 and I had the paper left over from invites 🙂
We will put one at each table setting and they will add to the decor of the reception and act as a conversation starter 🙂

@FutureMrsClayshulte: Awww, those are cute and I really like that song 🙂
We made fabric flowers in our colors, their fairly popular where we live in Hawaii

@FutureMrsClayshulte: SO CUTE!! I haven’t decided on favors yet but had to comment because I thought these were adorable

@FutureMrsClayshulte: Oh those are so cute! And the frames can be reused or left as is. I like it!
@MsCarabiner: So pretty! Do people use them in some way?

@MexiPino: Thanks! A lot of people (especially women but men too) wear them behind their ear as is the custom in a lot of polynesian areas. I’m not sure what else though!

We had $1 lotto scratchers in a glassine envelope with a shiny, new 2012 “lucky” penny. The enclosure said “We’re lucky in love… we hope you get the riches! Thanks for being part of the day we became Mr. & Mrs.”

My Fiance is addicted to fortune cookies. So we’re doing two different flavored ones (blueberry and either punch or grape) and putting them in little take out boxes. We’re going to have stickers with our names on them.

@OldMrsMcDonald: That’s pretty cute! My SO likes to bring home scratchers for me when I’ve had a bad day 🙂 It doesn’t fit with my overall theme, but I might have to keep the idea in my back pocket anyway. Who doesn’t like scratchers?! And $1 + an envelope & a penny? Totally on budget!

@MexiPino: Didn’t go with our theme either, but I tried to stretch it to the overall idea of luck– we used peacock feathers as an inspiration, and they are supposedly lucky! I think overall, the cost per favor was around $1.25 for tickets, pennies, envelopes, cards, and seals.

We did the typical candy in a box thing. It was simple and got eaten versus left behind.
