I tried on multiple veils once my dress came in. I was too paranoid about ordering and hoping it all went together. I like that this felt like a mantilla but the lace didn’t fight with my dress because it didn’t start until my elbows.

@LGenz: Where did you get your veil from?  It’s so beautiful.  I haven’t seen any like that.  Was it a multiple tier veil?

Its two tiers (really one piece folded over itself, its hard to explain). The Brand is Enchanted Veil by Moonlight Bridal. I’ve never seen my particular veil on their website but they have other lace options

I also did a lace-edged veil where the lace started at the elbow. I thought an all-lace edge was too much. Mine was a fingertip one-tier veil that I bought for only $100 on Etsy. My wedding was outside so I wanted something shorter that wouldn’t drag in the dirt.

I loooove lace so I went a little nutso! I always know I wanted a lace dress and a mantilla veil, I just didn’t know that it would be a cathedral length one (my mom prefers long)! But I think the dress is simple enough that they compliment eachother pretty well. (Sorry these pic are HUGE!)

@MamaMegs721: Aw thanks! This dress is a result of dress regret! My other one just didn’t compare! Trust me, you would look beautiful in it too but you look gorgeous in your dress!!!!!

@eimajleigh: I’ll be wearing the enzoani cincinnati which has the same type of lace as yours and am also looking for a lace veil that kind of matches. I like that the match does not have to be perfect and still look great, as you can see in your pics! That will be less of a headache for me 🙂

So far i’ve narrowed it down to this veil: http://weddingveil.com/veils2/catalog.php?category=2j43&id=31153

For any of you ladies looking at mantilla veils I highly rec. this site, they have like 25 types of lace with a ton of different shapes and lengths… good prices too!

My Dress was all lace, so not to compete with it I wore a very simple fingertip length veil. I wasn’t sure about it at first, but I love the way I looks in my ceremony pics 🙂
