Here is my engagement ring.. It sits up a little high so you can have a normal band that sits underneath… i love all the antique look rings.. so for my wedding band I’m going to have a plain engraved gold band (similar to pic) and for my eternity a marquise and round cut diamond band to match the stones but in yellow gold..( similar to pic)

one of my colleagues has a really pretty marquise e-ring in which the marquise diamond sits horizontally instead of vertically.  It’s kind of like a marquise halo as well in that it is surrounded by tiny diamonds and some diamonds on the band too.  I don’t have a pic but I was definitely impressed when I saw it!

@SuzySchmoozy:

Thanks! I just found a picture on google that I liked and I’m having one made the same with family gold 🙂

@hanzabelle: Your ring is amazing!

My mom has a marquise ring, I’ve always been fond of them. Everyone has gorgeous rings!

Mine is a vintage, custom-made piece. My fiance said he walked into the second-hand shop and wanted to find something that was me in gold and diamonds. He said, “I saw this one and knew it was you.” It has 5 marquise-cut diamonds. There is a matching wrap band with 3 more diamonds. . . but he won’t let me see it until we get married. He loves surprises.

Mine’s a marquise cut ruby. To be honest, I never ever thought I’d want a marquise stone but my fiance picked this all on his own and of course I love it! I think the length of marquise cut stones does wonders for the finger and definitely a classicly elegant look! I love all your rings girls!

My ring… not sure how to place an actual wedding band with this ring? Any suggestions? My jeweler said that this ring is almost enough by itself, and I agree – but wondering if anyone has a similar band and what they did?
