@Aprilsfool:  Woooo! Mori lee is awesome! Do you find it difficult to wear the hoop skirt? I am thinking of either more crinoline or a hoop but I’m not sure yet.

Wow! Beautiful dresses ladies! I just love the mermaid/trumpet dresses, I think they look so elegant! Here’s my Pronovias at my first fitting!

I hope this doesn’t offend anyone (and usually if you have to say that…then yes, you’re supposed to keep your mouth shut.)

I used to think mermaids/trumpets were only for the bone-thin!  But I think the dresses look SO much better on women with some curves and/or weight on them.  It was the #1 reason I didn’t look at these styles of gowns because I thought only size 0’s could pull them off!

Not the case at all. You guys look amazing!  Jealous….

Allure 2667!  I am picking it up from Montreal this weekend!!! Can NOT wait! πŸ˜€  I think this is more of a trumpet dress but considering having it altered.

@FleeSircus:  I thought the same thing. And I’m about a size 4 normally but I am also short. I thought they were for tall skinny girls. Once I put one on though, I was sold!

@javababy87:  I thought it was pretty easy to walk with the hoopskirt and I also tried sitting down with it, which wasn’t an issue. You have to approach the chair from the side though. And I think the dress looks so much nicer with the poofy bottom πŸ™‚ If you haven’t picked up your dress yet, I am sure you could ask to try it on with a hoop skirt. But there is actually something that worries me: the first dance….I am not very keen on dancing, but obviously, I will not forego the first dance. And since the hoop skirt is wide, I am not sure how it’ll work out. We will try dancing with the hoopskirt beforehand.

ETA: Sorry for threadjacking, OP!
