Sometimes I think all I see on the Bee are massive rocks, big halos, etc. They are gorgeous, of course, but show me your modest bling! I know that’s subjective, but if you think of your ring as understated, modest, etc, please share!

This is my original wedding set. Which I love! And still wear from time to time.

I don’t know the stats, FH picked it out. I love it though and couldn’t be happier with what he picked 🙂

sawwahbear5 : I think it is perfect! I don’t have mine yet, but it is an oval solitaire so I’m partial to one stone on a plain band 🙂

I knew I wanted something dainty and fortunately got to design my ring myself (my dude said that was was a good idea after I gave him my very specific list of things I like and don’t like). So this is a .5 carat padparadscha sapphire on a rose gold band. I have a wedding band, but even with that being a simple, 1mm band, it feels like it adds too much to my ring which I love for its daintiness. So when I do wear the band, I just wear it solo.

Thank you for starting this! I’ve been wanting to start a similar thread. I consider my ring to be a modest size. I love how delicate smaller rings are.

My engagement ring is actually a promise ring as I didnt want my fiance to spend a lot and I perfer smaller stones. We also wanted something that was engravable and I wanted a black diamond or black diamond accents. We set our budget at $300. We bought this beauty last November during their black friday sale. It ended up costing less then $200 with taxes. Its only ,11 of a ct but for me its perfect. It sparkles alot😙
Here is their stock photo.

Not the best pic, but I have a modest set. It’s a .63 carat princess cut. Been married 12+ years so upgrading to a 3 stone moissanite set soon 🙂

I think my e-ring is modest/understated being a band style rather than having a large center stone! It’s a vintage piece from the 1960s, and I adore it. So nice to see so many unique/interesting/stunning pieces!

i feel like mine is pretty modest, as it’s 1) a sapphire and not a diamond, and 2) it was under $10k, and 3) i live in NYC which is basically the epicenter of 2+ carat diamond erings.

I think my ring is dainty for living in los angele. about half carat center on a size 6. I wear my ering on my right hand and my band on my left
