Ahh I love threads like this! Just joined and first time posting, but I definitely spent a lot of time browsing these threads in the past months while I waited for the proposal. tongue-out Anyway, newly engaged and excited to share my half carat beauty…It sparkles like crazy, and I smile every time I look at it!

I’m really happy with the size of my ring and honestly I’m not sure how modest it is- sometimes it feels gigantic to me! It’s a .7 which is on the smaller side here.

This is mine! It’s a .5 carat center and a .5 carat halo.

I’m having issues with uploading a picture on here since it’s not recognizing the file. But my ring has a blue diamond center and I wish I knew the carat. I asked my fiance and he didn’t ask the jeweler. Anyway, it’s on the tiny side and I love it. Hopefully I can upload a picture of it soon!

This is a great thread. My original set was .50 diamond in an interlocking setting V setting yellow gold, very 80’s lol!. My husband upgraded the size of my diamond to a .90 and also the setting which is now white gold with all my original little diamonds for my 40th Birthday 3years ago. The top band is my new 20th anniversary band. I love my modest set soooo much😍

This was my old set style not the original diamond size and had already changed it to white, but love my new set so much more. It has all the original little diamonds but much more timeless!

ok while my ring may look 👀 large it is the materials used that I always think of when I think 🤔 modest . My ring is a Smokey quartz with white sapphires in sterling sliver . It was my promise ring before we got engaged. So while again it looks big i consider what it is made of the modest part not the size .
