@PGsHotBride:  Thanks so much for the idea! We are Orthodox Christians, so we actually wear a wedding band on the right hand — because of that, I will probably keep it very simple! Wonderful idea though!

.sisaidThis isn’t my ring..my mum’s actually, but I have loved it since I was a kid!

It’s a 33-year-old engagement ring, and I understand it is older than we think it is, as my mum bought it secondhand.

I consider the ring unique because of its creative use of fancy shaped diamonds. My mum’s ring has round brilliants, radiant cuts and even trilliants in it! And the side stones are actually laterally-inverted and vertically-reflected mirror images.

There are some really lovely rings here!

Partner knew I didn’t want a dimaond and that I love the Edwardian/Victorian look — and he supplied! He designed my ring himself and it is beautiful. The sapphire is lovely, but it has a lot of fire and it’s hard to get a photo that captures it all with a camera phone — I can’t wait for our photographer to get a good shot of it. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have yet to see a setting like mine- cushion halo with milgrain engraving along the outside of the halo AND alongside the pavé diamonds on the band and scrollwork underneath the mounting. Fiance did an amazing job picking it out ๐Ÿ™‚
