Venue cost: $5,000 (we had to have it on a Saturday to appease the Jewish side of our family)
People attending: ~140
*sidenote: they have longhorns that are laying around in the background! I honestly feel like I got so lucky finding this place since I had such a small budget to work with.

- Wedding: May 2017 - Canvas Event Space
Venue Type: Modern
Venue Cost: $$
Number of Guests: 85
Our venue was the top floor of a furniture store in one of the (interior) design districts in our city. I *think* it used to be a factory but if it is, it was completely gutted.
This was our head table. Those windows at the bottom half of the wall actually look into the furniture (it was closed). The top half is made of milk crates and they go around the whole venue and were one of my favourite things about it.
These pics are from the internet of the other half of the venue which we used for our cocktail hour and lounge area (we had different furniture).

Ours is at the Salamander Resort and Spa in Middleburg, VA. It is a very equestrian-luxury homey feel. They have their own awesome stables, a world class spa, and amazing rooms. We are paying out the ass for it but it is so worth it since it is pretty much all inclusive and has a wonderful head chef/pastry chef doing all of our food. We decided on this venue after going to a bunch of wineries and felt that a location made for weddings and plan b’s in case of rain was important. Here are some pics:

Love seeing all your venues! 🙂
We are paying 2500€ for the venue (an old beautiful farm on Mallorca, Spain) + 1200€ for three hotelrooms for three nights (these will be paid by the guests stayingin there though). For that we have exclusive access for the entire venue for three days. We will also do the ceremony there.
Our wedding will be 70-90 guests and if weather permits all of it will be held outside, including dinner reception. If it’s raining they have an amazing old olive oil mill that has been converted and can seat up to 90 guests at round tables.
Super happy with the venue we found, we really wanted a classic and rustic farm but it was so hard to find one that was on in good shape, at convenient location and had a decent plan B without being ridiculously priced.

Thanks! They offer decor packages but I decided to save money by making my own flowers so I will be doing the centerpieces and aisle markers myself. The decor in my price includes all the specialty tablecloths for the tables, head table and cake table etc. As well as the backdrop (with the sheer criss cross fabric) but I will have twinkly lights behind them and they are ordering napkins in a Robin’s egg blue for me and a few other things! They are amazing there!

- Wedding: October 2016 - Painswick Church and the Falcon Hotel
Cute country, British wedding. We picked our church (I’ve wanted to get married there since I was a little girl) and found the sweetest converted barn in the grounds of a hotel opposite the church. 50 day guests and 85 evening

Our venue is a historic victorian home in Nashville, TN that was renovated to be an event space. We are having around 100-120 guests, but I believe it will hold around 250. We are so excited!
