Our venue is the Doctor’s House, in Ontario, Canada.  There is a chapel on site, right beside the reception building.

Mine is historic St. John’s College in the heart of dowtown Annapolis, MD. The ceremony and reception are in separate halls but are right next to each other with a cute courtyard in between. As soon as I saw it, I knew this was where we’d get married. We are having about 80 guests. Not my photos

crackktheskyy:  We’re in a Phila. suburb. When we visited H/D the first time, it was a straight shot down the Blue Route and 95S – it took 40 minutes. The hotel is just a few blocks off 95. Also there is no sales tax in Delaware, so we saved thousands, overall. (Just got the gowns and tuxs in PA). The wedding was on a Sunday night, so that was about $50 less per person, than Saturday. They included a day-of co-ordinator, so we didn’t hire a planner, and a cake, and since both ceremony and reception were at the same place, we didn’t need limos/trasportation. They provided a beautiful, complimentary suite with refreshments, for the ladies to get ready, too.

I love your venue, too. We had a wedding at the Marriott Downtown last year and one will be at The Omni next year. I love historic architecture.

2XMOB:  My family is from the Philly suburbs! Fiance grew up in DE so he was very familiar with the location of H/D but we ended up deciding on PA for the wedding. H/D remains one of my favorite venues, though!! That’s great that you got such a deal, too! We’re getting married at the Down Town Club which is actually right across from the Omni downtown (and I’m super jealous you get to attend a wedding there—another great venue!) Like H/D, the Down Town Club has been great because it has included so much (cake, linens, bridal suite, etc. etc.)

I hope everyone in this thread posts recaps. I love all of these venues!

Beautiful venues! Mine is the Cartier Mansion. There is a beautiful garden out back where we will have the ceremony, then the reception inside. Here is a picture:

She hasn’t hosted weddings for a while, but is willing to do mine. Yay!

Rooftop ceremony along the Shanghai Bund in 2015! Indoor reception will also be on the roof but encased in glass so we can enjoy the view all night long ☺

The view was the most important for us!

Fiance and I still haven’t decided exactly what we’re going to do (and our wedding won’t be for awhile), but we would get married at Stanford, where we met in undergrad. For our reception, we both really love the Ritz at Half Moon Bay, but we’ll see!

I don’t have the pro photos yet so I’ll just put up the few pictures the DJ took of the venue from the stage….. The name of the venue is Palladio and it is in Glendale CA. The ceremony was at my husband’s church 20 minutes from the venue. The venue is actually massive but our party was about 480 guests, hence why it looks so packed hahaha. We were over capacity.
