We are having both our ceremony and reception at Fort Denison, which is a private (previously military) island in Sydney Harbour, overlooking the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. Guests arrive via private charter ferry from Circular Quay. It’s pretty awesome

We’re getting married at a horse farm in PA. Ceremony will be outdoors in front of a large Oak tree and reception inside the large barn. We’re from NYC so we wanted to get out of the brick jungle to celebrate. ๐Ÿ™‚

Our Ceremony and Reception will take place at the same venue. Our venue is the Stonehouse at stirling ridge in Warren NJ. I love the rustic and modern elements it evokes because I feel like it really captures Fiance and I. Here are some photos, not of my wedding as it still hasn’t happened yet.

So many gorgeous venues! We’re putting in our deposit this week so I feel I can join now. Our ceremony (outside on the lawn) and reception (inside) will be at Wente Vineyards in CA’s Livermore Valley wine region.

We’re getting married in a small chapel built in the 1860’s. It is simple, but I think it captures us really well and when we went to visit while we were still looking at churches, I just teared up because it felt so right.

Our reception will be a mixed indoor/outdoor reception at a historic home nearby.

DrunkInLove:  Thank you! We are super excited to show off our city to our guests and throw a good party after the more traditional wedding chapel…hopefully it’s one that isn’t forgetful! Everyone on here has such beautiful venues!

Here is my beautiful venue! It’s winter but my wedding is in the fall so everything will be green and gorgeous.  The other photo is taken at night (obviously) and just shows some lights and the tent that the reception will be held in from the area of our ceremony. It’s the American Swedish Historical Museum in Philadelphia and we get to work with Jeffrey A Miller catering who has delicious food. Super excited!
