We’re having a destination wedding in cancun, but not on the beach. My Fiance is only a few inches taller than me so I ddbt want heels. Here are my gorgeous sandals. Can’t wait to wear them!
I think I posted my ceremony shoes here but not the reception. Here they are:
Thats my watermark. Had to get them from the CL boutique in Hong Kong as they were sold out everywhere. They are the Christian Louboutin “Gwynitta” in silver glitter.
For reference… here are my blue Jimmy Choo “Clue” in blue glitter. Yes, i like sparkly things
also watermark of my old blog name. got them for a super great deal!
Mine are Caramel by paradox pink. I was going to have them made but then OH vetoed it and I had to try and find some that fit. I didn’t want them quite so high but I’m a UK size 2 and NOTHING fits, but I got lucky with these. Dress is White with silver beadwork so i’m going to have these dyed – probably a silvery grey colour.
@atcgirl – how do you find the fit/comfort of your paradox pink shoes? I’ve fallen in love with one of their styles (much lower heel so I don’t tower of Fiance :p ) but I’m concerned about ordering them from the UK…
mkgolden: Thank you but I decided not to go with those Jimmy Choo’s. I want to have feet to actually bring into my marriage. They are sooooo umconfortable! lol
Sakari87: Like you, I had my eye on these Valentino’s when I started planning my wedding. Have you ever tried them on? I ask because the open toe area is cut very wide: so wide that it makes it very difficult for the shoe to stay in place.
In my case, three toes were exposed in the open toe area. Because my toes are long and thin and there was very little to grip on, the shoe kept falling off 🙁
As a result, I will have to wear pointy closed toes shoes (Jimmy Choo “Abel” for the ceremony and Christian Louboutin “Cora” at the reception).
MeandMyLouboutins: LOL good call. I’m not the best in heels so comfort will be a big factor for me too.
bdbride8693: Hi. Interms of comfort they’re not hugely comfortable yet, But that’s partly due to my lack of prior high heel wearing and also they’re quite stiff – wedding is a year away so given myself a lot of time to break them in and develop muscles in the right places!
There’s a bit just under my ankle bone that’s rubbing where the soft moleskin ends and the fake leather begins – I thought I might be able to snip the corner of the trim to get rid of the sharp edge, but might might have to resort to moleskin. These have a good amount of extra padding under the ball of the foot. There is some in lower styles, but not as much as these. I did try the “Pretty” in a UK2 (eur 35) amd they fit quite well, they’re not as high. I tried a pair of their strappy sandals in a 3 which have a relatively low heel and they were reasonably comfortable, but too big and would have rubbed. My major complaint is that they’re too high under the ankle bone and might dig in as my ankle bone is pretty low. I’m probably going to have to squash down the sides a bit or fold them over a little to stop this.
