I was always a white gold or white metals fan. But I have come to love and appreciate both yellow and rose gold over the past year or two. I think I love all the metals about equally now, with rose gold perhaps edging slightly ahead of the others. But only very slightly — ha, ha!
My original engagement ring. It is 18K yellow gold and shown here with a 10K yellow gold band.
And my most recent pretty, which I have been obsessing over HARD. It was my birthday present this year from my hubby and daughter. It is a yellow sapphire set in 14K antique yellow gold.

All of my rings (all of my jewelry really) is yellow gold. My engagement ring is a .7 carat round diamond and my engagment ring and plain yellow gold wedding band are 2mm. My newest ring that I got for our 1 year anniversary has marquise and round diamonds along the band and is about 4mm wide. I had planned on stacking it with my wedding set as shown in the middle picture but I’ve been mostly wearing it as a RHR or on days when I don’t want to wear my engagement ring (it’s quite tall of a setting so sometimes it’s nice to have a low setting for the day) I love the look of my plain wedding band with my anniversary band as shown in the last photo.
