ivvy :  the ering is from James Allen, the 2 wedding bands is from a local Indian jewelry store. And the opal is “vintage” from Ebay even though I’ve seen some pretty similar designs around.

ivvy :

It’s funny you should say that (regarding my stone looking colorless). It’s a 1.11 carat I color VVS1 super ideal cut lab created diamond. It definitely can have a warmth to it, depending on the lighting. I love how much its appearance changes in different lightings. The cut definitely helps maximize its sparkle.

flower895 :

Its a Verragio, renaissance 941. I had it altered slightly to have single prongs rather than double.

ivvy :  GCAL certs for lab diamonds is definitely the way to go. I got mine from Brilliant Earth. When do you get your diamond?

ivvy :   I got the stone first from BE. I didn’t care for BEs settings and I read that their maintenance long term leaves something to be desired. Once I got the stone, I took it with me to local jewelry stores to test out settings. That was really helpful, because I could just set my stone in a setting and get a pretty good idea of how the finished product would look. I already knew that I really liked Verragio settings, so the last store I went to was a Verragio dealer. I was able to try a bunch of settings before I ultimately decided on one I loved online that the store could order in for me.

Another yellow gold set, since that is this thread’s theme:
