I always love to see how couples choose to display their favorite shots of the wedding in their homes. In addition to the display below, we have two of our favorite shots printed on stretched canvas.
But this is referred to as the “wedding wall.” I just found the “E” today (it’s just the size I wanted!), so our wedding wall is FINALLY complete!!
Now, hive, show me your creativity with your photos!!

This is so cute. I love it. I am interested in seeing what the other bees have done as well. I know I will want to do soemthing with our wedding pics once I get them back.

I love it!! The different colored frames are so classy too, I never would have thought of that.

That is so cute!! I’m very interested in this thread. I know that we are planning to take a shot of us from the wedding day and have it made into a large canvas to hang over our bed. Hoping for a far away shot with scenery like so..

When we’re married I wanted to do something like this:

I’m so boring. I just have frames going up my stairs to the bedrooms with wedding pics in them.

@FallBride2B: Thanks! I’ll be honest and say I stole that idea straight from Pottery Barn, lol. But it definitely adds visual interest.

@MrsEdamame:Where did you get everything from? The shelves, the pic frames, the “E”…everything looks so pretty together 🙂

@Blue-Bird: love this idea!!! I may have to steal this, because I have been trying to figure out what to do above our bed, and this might be perfect

I love it!! I cannot wait to have wedding photos to display 🙂

@coffeegal85: Thank you! The white shelves came from Meijer (similar to
Wal-mart for those of you outside the midwest). The silver/pewter frames came from Kohl’s (along with the “E”), and the black frames were from Hobby Lobby. I think the key to an interesting display is choosing different sized frames with different detailing. I know you can’t tell from the picture, but the two black frames at the bottom are the only identical frames. So when choosing yours, pick out some fat ones, some skinny ones, etc.

I just started trying to put up photos this week, so this is perfect timing! (PS pardon the terrible cell phone pictures!)
I registered for a bunch of Martha Stewart frames when we got married, so I’ve used those for our bedsides like so:
Then I used one of the double frames for our invitation and favorite close-up shot. I have no idea where to put this one yet…
We are also getting a 16×20 canvas made of the same headshot to either put on top of our bed or put in our living room.
I also started putting together small arrangements of photos together in the hallway to the bathroom and our entryway:
All of the frames (other than the silver ones) were $3 frames from Walmart we had leftover from wedding decorations. They all came with mats included, so if you need a cheap frame, its not a bad deal!

@MrsEdamame: I love that! It looks so nice! I may have to steal this as inspiration once Darling Husband and I move and get a house with space to decorate.

@Ginger123: oh I love that one with the invitation. I’m going to steal that one! That way he can look at the display when he forgets our anniversay – which he already had to think really hard about and its only been two months!
