@kkgrove:  I think the “off” about it is the geometric cuts of the aquamarines coupled with the cut and colour of the tanzanites. The “claw flower” in the centre is clumsy next to the delicate colour of the aquas. Sorry! Devastating review 🙈

I just got this from Berricle to see if I like the 3-stone look. It is beautiful but I do not like it on me.

My mom had this ring made for my 13th birthday. It’s one of those gold wire rings, and I hate the setting. Yellow gold isn’t my favorite. Sorry for the potato picture, it’s old.20140927_193028

@dracarys:  That’s very pretty!  I’ve made so many Berricle orders and never kept a single one.  It’s nice to try out a new look without breaking the bank 🙂

@lisaeversman:  Thanks! I loved it in the box, but as soon as I put it on I was deflated. I don’t like how the side stones kind of spill over the side of my finger. If they were angled down a little bit I’d be all over it. I got 6mm studs with this order and I’m keeping those!

I agree with @Faybles

IDK @dracarys that’s pretty nice, I haven’t seen the rest of you, but it looks nice on your hand 🙂

Not sure if I like this band with my e-ring ring or not. Engagement Ring is 2.24 carat asscher cut diamond (2.0 center + .24 pave band) from James Allen; band is made from with 13.3 asscher and round CZs from JTV jewelry ($49!) — I JUST got it today, and I just think it’s too big/chunky for my ering’s band.

@TenderMoni:  that is definitely too chunky for your ering. if you like it though it would make a great right-hand ring!

@kkgrove:  Thanks! I thought about it, but it’s kind of windowy. I do like the size/shape though!

I was super sad this week about a ring that turned out awful! I sent in a stone to be set in a simple but unique James Allen setting…and it is atrocious! The color of the stone turned out crazy extra yellow in the setting…but I could probably have gotten behind that, as I like those olivey/greeny/non-traditional colors, if the setting hadn’t been such a bad fit otherwise! You can actually see light between the prongs and the stone, and the detail work is bumpy rather than smooth. JA offered a repair, but this thing turned out so high set as to not be wearable and just….ugly. I guess I will be sending it back and chalking the nonrefundable $200 in mounting fees up to a learning experience. I have had such good experiences with JA otherwise that I was pretty shocked.

@kkgrove:  maybe it seems off bc the prongs are the first thing I notice, and they are rounded looking whereas the rest of the ring is geometric? This is a great post. Lol. I need to look through my old rings and see what’s there.

This was my mom’s and I’m really not a fan. Plus her hands were larger than mine so it fit her better.
