@kalex814:  I had no idea about such a setting either.  It is definitely interesting, in a good way! 2.4ct might not look huge on someone with a bigger finger size or somebody who is used to wearing bigger stones. I cannot get used to it. I can’t remember the size of the stone, probably around 2 ct. It’s a heart shaped morganite in a 14kt rose gold setting. Free to good home lol.

Here’s another fail. I have never in my life seen this cut on an oval. Makes me think of a Reese’s chocolate egg.

@tetonlove:  LOL, that is a HILARIOUS cut on that oval! It must have been disappointing to receive, but your description of a reese’s egg was right on. It’s harder to tell from the radiant photo what exactly is wrong…other than maybe it just looks very very crushed icy?

@kalex814:  Amazingly, James Allen actually ended up refunding me the full cost, including the “non-refundable” portion! I’m pretty happy with that result 🙂

@alh56:  it was so odd!! I immediately went back to the listing picture; it’s legit an optical illusion. I didn’t notice the weird cut before, but then it was suddenly visible 🤣 It actually takes the nicest photos and was bloody difficult to get an ‘accurate’ one. It’s my catfish ring lol.

 The radiant I think is fine, just not my jam at all. A few people guessed it was a diamond on the spot the fakes thread. It is free to a good home as well and is a size 4, but be forewarned it is sterling silver.
