This is such a great thread!  I love seeing everyone’s bm dresses!  The one I picked is by Bill Levkoff.  Once they come in, we might remove the flower…

My wedding is going to be outdoors in June in Florida, so I wanted something lightweight, affordable, flattering on all figures, and in the PERFECT shade of green. Happily, I stumbled upon these Old Navy dresses and my girls love them! Their whole look for the wedding, including shoes, is going to be under $60. I am so excited!

I let my maids pick their own style in the same color/fabric. Two are wearing the halter dress below, and the other two are wearing the other styles. The color is closest to the halter dress picture. They are Melissa Sweet from Priscilla’s of Boston.

I am having trouble now!  I was going to go with the After Six in Sunrise by now I like Aria in Burnt Orange.  After Six is cheaper, but Aria won’t need to be hemmed to the knee (I want knee length, not tea…)  I think Aria might be a little better quality, too…

After six shown here in sunrise, Aria shown in pink (but the group photo shows the color I would order it in…)

My ladies are all wearing different dresses. I asked them to pick either a sari or shalwar kameez (both traditional Indian outfits) in some shade of aqua or turquoise. They were all very happy with the idea since they would have no "real" reason to buy one otherwise, but all wanted one!  I was nervous they wouldn’t like them, but they were super excited about the idea.  Score!!  Here is an example that one of my bridesmaids chose:

Coolest trend with breezy colour! This aqua blue faux georgette saree decorated with booti. Pallu and border is enriched with sequins, stones, thread and jall work. Embroidered blouse is in blue. (There might be slight colour variation due to camera flash)  http://www.utsavsarees.com/pages/sarees-large.asp?icode=SDC314

We ordered them all from http://www.utsavsarees.com and have been mostly happy with them.

Yay! OH the bridesmaid dresses were such a pain to coordinate, find cheaply, etc. etc. We ended up going back to the salon that I got my dress from, Priscilla of Boston, because of the discount, the color selection and fabric. I was really concerned about getting a cotton material as my dress is eyelet.

Anywho, here they are, each girl got to select her own cut out of 7 options. They all picked something different too!

Oh, the colors are all the same, just weird online.

my girls are wearing the ann taylor monique in navy blue! the great thing about these dresses is we decided on them pretty early on and it coincided with AT’s discontinuation of the style so my BMs got them for 70 and my Maid/Matron of Honor got hers for 35 b/c the prices kept dropping while they were ordering! definitely a great deal!

Here are my beautiful girls!  They all agreed on the same dress and color choice too!  It was way too easy which was great for me.  They looked fabulous!  There’s also a pic of my mom next to the girls… her dress was very similar to theirs too!  The dresses are Alfred Angelo- color buttercup.  Mom’s is also from there.  Hers is in champagne.

My INSANELY talented mother offered to make my bridesmaid dresses. Very simple and easy, not to mention, a major bonus for the 3 of them still in college and majorly strapped for cash! Average cost…drumroll….$25 each. Hours, unknown, haha! My Maid/Matron of Honor is SUPER excited and can’t wait to change out the champagne sash for black or something more chic and less bridesmaidy so she can rewear them! The dresses and some matching pearl and swarovski bracelets are their gifts. They’re champange pink in case the color isn’t real great from my iphone
