My girls are picking their own dresses and two of them have so far so these are them. The first one is my maid of honor and the second is bridesmaid

My girls are wearing the dress in the center of this Anne Taylor photo.  It is SO much prettier in person and looks fabulous on all the girls!!

Personally I love a simple strapless knee length dress but I don’t think all my maids will be comfortable in that. So  I think I might choose a line or couple dresses from a line have them choose which style (def knee length though) but in the same color.

WOW there’s so many different dresses! I found these ones on Amazon.com for $50 and I love them. It’s perfect for my girls too since their all spread out and not near me. My colors are chocolate brown and orange (with white and lavender thrown in) I can’t wait to see all of them in their beautiful dresses. 100 days!

My girls all selected the same dress, (Alfred Angelo 6323) so easy! It looked fantastic on them:

Brandonsbride… I used pacificplex too! I chose the color (aqua) and let the girls pick any dress in that color.  Low and behold they all picked the same (wild!) dress!

All the girls are young and in college, so the style works really well, its a beautiful dress it person.

Not only did they choose it, you cant beat 60 bucks shipped!

My girls are all wearing whatever dress they want, in any shade of green they want.  My only guideline was they had to be around knee length. Since we’re having an outdoor nature-inspired wedding, I think it’s going to look amazing. We’re putting the guys in black suits with all different green ties (different shades and patterns).  I’m hoping we can pull it off!

The first picture is my inspiration picture.  And the second picture has all the dresses that my bridesmaids picked out for themselves (don’t they have great taste?!).

ok, let me tell you….picking my girls dresses was probably one of the most frustrating and horrible experiences thus far with planning my wedding!

I am a very easy going person, and initially wanted all the girls wearing different dresses (ones they would pick out) but in the same fabric/colours  – This however did not end up working out as none of them wanted to pick out their own dresses (why? I have no idea!!) and they all have completly different body types so one would look good on one but not on the others, so it was a frustrating thing

I ended up buying 2 different dresses for all 4 of my girls (2 matching for the Maid/Matron of Honor and the Jr.Bridesmaid or Best Man, and 2 of the same of the other BMs) and I have to tell you, which is a horrible thing – I dont really like the dresses for the BMs, they’re not horrible…they looked good on them, gave them amazing figures, but not a dress I would have picked – they both were fine with them and fit them so thats kind of how the decision was made…sigh

I do however love the long dresses for the Maid/Matron of Honor and the jr.Bridesmaid or Best Man (my Maid/Matron of Honor wanted a long dress so loves her dress too)

I have attached them below (they’re all jasmine poly chiffon in Celadon, which is the color of the short dress - I have to get a fabric change for an extra charge on the long dresses as they didn’t come in the poly chiffon or Celedon)

Okay, mine is not even meant to be for bridesmaids, but I love it and can’t wait to get them ordered.

My theme is a latin/vintage glam wedding, end of May and colors are purple and chartreuse with possibly a pop of persimmon.

Since our wedding is in the evening, I will have them dress them up with really chic shoes, jewelry and pulled together hairstyles.

You like? Newport News has quite a few pretty and reasonable dresses, but they didn’t match my theme… there was an off the shoulder and a halter that were really pretty but not very latin.

Here are my girls dresses, we were going to do a long dress but just couldn’t pass up this awesome dress.  Very simple detailing but very elegant, and the back is beautiful.  It will be in a cinammon color with a camel ruching sash.  My gals are excited!

I couldn’t decide between green or black, so I’m doing both. I have 3 BMs and this is what they will be wearing. All dresses from After Six/Dessy
