Here is my dress!  I had some second thoughts like just about everyone, but when the big day came and went I felt beautiful and comfortable!

It’s funny I’m running into so many wedding dress posts since I JUST bought my dress yesterday! It was definitely not a style I would have considered on my own. But the owner of the shop somehow knew how beautiful it would be once I tried it on. This is why SHE owns a dress boutique and I don’t — it turned out perfect!!

Part of me still loves the more elaborate gowns with heavier fabrics. But I know I will be thanking myself when we’re getting married in the middle of Vegas and I’m not sweating. 😉

    Here’s a photo…

After reading Mrs. Cupcake’s post about the Goodwill sample sale, I decided to check it out for myself.  This was my first time going outto look for a wedding dress, and I came out with a gem.  Although it’s not a designer sample dress, I am quite happy with my vintage find.  I paid a mere $24.99.

I’m looking at all these dresses and I’m thinking in my head did I go with the right dress…..then I remember when I put my dress on and the veil with tiara on the pedestal looking in all the mirrors….I cried…because it was perfect….

I wore the La Sposa Mesina.  It was SO beautiful and SO comfortable!  Here are pics on the model and on me.  Boo, my attachments are too large.

@englishmuffin: I love your dress! I definately had it flagged in my bridal magazines. But alas, the shape just didn’t work for me. Are you wearing a mantilla veil too?

@SoonToBeKGC: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE him!  I just couldn’t afford his prices.  I REALLY love your dress, that’s one of my favorites by him, also.

@englishmuffin: Your dress is very similar to my Anne Barge!

I wish this post existed when I was doing my wedding planning!  I was a Maggie bride, I wore "Colby".  The best thing about my dress is the fit and that it was super easy to move in — very comfortable. I always thought I would go non-traditional so I was shocked when this turned out to be "the dress".  I wore blue shoes, so I guess that took away some of the tradition!

Mine is a Casablanca and I had them make it with a corset back, which I’m really happy with!
