@GretaB…I agree with D.Marie…it’s beautiful on you…and that’s with it not being the right size. When it’s the right size on you it will be amazing, it’s a gorgeus dress!

Well, I suppose after drooling over everyone else’s dresses I should post my own…so here you go! Ignore how short I look in the dress…there wasn’t a pedestal and I didn’t have shoes on.  I love the layers on the dress…go to Romona Keveza’s website if you want to see it move – it floats! 🙂  I can’t wait to wear it!

Well I am terribly unhappy with mine. Because I couldn’t afford the one I wanted ($1000 from the designer), I went with Gioavonni’s bridal Boutique who specializes in "designer-inspired gowns" and they screwed up my dress so bad I refuse to wear it. At this point, I can’t afford another couple hundred of bucks for another gown and I am seriously considering canceling the ceremony. Thank God I didn’t send out the invitations yet. Two pics, the first is what it was supposed to look like. The second is me in the actual dress. At first, it doesn’t seem to bad. But the under-dress is too short, they forgot to put the buttons down the side, the part below the waist flairs out instead of laying flat and they put beads and sequins everywhere which I did not order and was not part of the design they were supposed to duplicate.

I finally have some pictures of me in my dress to share! I have had a love/hate relationship with my dress, but now I’m loving it. I’m still not completely sold on the train, and I have no idea how it will bustle, but we’ll make it happen!

Here’s my dress, I got it from Milly Bridal in China. It was delivered to my mother, so I get to try it on tomorrow!

I bought a dress that I loved in another lifetime; I’m waering it AGAIN, with some modifications….the train is going, and we’re lightening up the layers, to make it lighter, and more fun. Add some blue suede shoes, and we’re off the Vegas!

Doctorgirl- I just went back to you look at your dress. Wow. I love it! I’m not the puffy kind of girl either. That’s so cool that the train detaches.

I am wearing a Maggie Sottero dress, Bianca. I remember lifting it from the rack, it was so heavy I was like, "this is way too heavy, but it is in my size and I need to figure out a dress as I only have 6 weeks"….because it was one of the last ones I picked it – it was the second one I tried on and I didn’t want to take it off.

I don’t have dress envy per say, but dang, there are some seriously amazing dresses here!

I haven’t seen my dress since I picked it out about 5 weeks ago. I have left it at the bridal store so as to not ruin it here at home. I pick it up Friday and head to the airport and I hope I love it all the same.
