@sbharkness83: I know exactly what you mean! I guess when we’re little, we just want to be little princesses. 🙂 Your gown oozes sex appeal but still maintains a traditional shape. Your veil sounds beautiful..make sure you post and share it! Gotta love crafty friends!

@Techie – I am crafing most of my wedding and crossing my fingers that is does not look too DIY. I am loving it so far. I can’t wait to see it all put together.
I am so glad that I am no doing a Princess wedding. It is just not me. I am having my reception at the Mary;and Science Center and doing a subtle Baltimore Theme. I could never do a modern wedding and be a Princess at the same time.
Oh and Your dress is AMAZING. It is so hard to pull that look off and you do it soooo well.

@sbharkness83: Only you will notice it’s DIY, don’t worry! My friends and I have done plenty of wedding-related DIY projects in the past for their weddings and they turned out fine. 🙂
Sounds fantastic! Chic city vibe all the way. 🙂 In a way, we are all princesses that day, modern or not.
And thank you! I can’t stop looking at my skirt. Love!

So many beautiful brides! Well, I brought my dress. Im so excited. Its Alfred Angelo style No. 483. Its so unique. The store told me that I was the only person to ever purchase that dress. I’ve never seen anyone in a dress that’s even close to it and I got it on sale, 75% discount because it was discontinued. You guys are the only people who know besides my matron of honor. I’ve had a couple of I think this is it but I know this is it, I purchased it.
Sorry I don’t have any pictures. The last time I took pictures of a dress I really loved, the fiance saw them, so no pics. This dress was made for me, I look like jessica rabbit on an Italian runway. After I purchased the dress, I looked up the designer’s photos and thought I wouldn’t have brought it based on how the model looked in it. In fact, I would not have even looked at it twice. I personally believe that real women look better in wedding gowns than models, no offense to the models.
