My shoes are jellies! Yes, jellies. But they’re Melissa/Vivienne Westwood jellies that are not stiff and sweaty like you’d expect. I love them! I know they’re funky and don’t look like wedding shoes at all but I don’t care! I wanted something I’d be happy to wear again anyday. Anyone else wearing shoes that don’t look like wedding shoes? Any other jelly-wearers out there? Show me 🙂

I have jellies… but they don’t match my dress so I got typical wedding shoes… but I LOVE JELLIES! Mine look like this:

@HappilyEverAfter54: Oh awesome, those are super cute! Mine don’t match my dress either but I figured no one will see them anyway. They can be my dirty little secret, lol!

@callmemargie: I got mine from zappos.com. They have free shipping both ways so you don’t lose money if they don’t fit. Worked out great for me 🙂

i bought to wear with my original dress, which was long, then i went for a shorter dress and wanted some different shoes. but no shoe on EARTH will ever be as comfortable as these shoes. i wish i hadnt worn them then they would still be smart enough to wear for my wedding, but i had them on all day for work and they are sooooooo comfortable.
i love them. i still might take them with me, and if my other shoes start getting uncomfortable at the reception, these are a good colour match so i will swap them over.

I’m not sure they count as “funky” but they’re definitely not your standard pointy ivory satin bridal shoes.
